To be a pioneer, not a follower, in photovoltaic solar energy technologies…
The aim of Kalyon PV R&D Center, consisting of over 100 researchers, is to conduct research and development activities in photovoltaic solar energy with the expertise and experience of its specialized team and to produce new solar technologies.
Within Kalyon PV, the R&D Center consists of offices and cleanroom laboratories established in a 1,687 m² indoor area, as well as an outdoor test platform covering 5,760 m².
At our center, research activities continue primarily on innovative cell technologies; productivity-enhancing processes in manufacturing; field performance improvement; energy storage and battery systems; smart factory, artificial intelligence systems, and automation. In addition, R&D work is also carried out on advanced characterization techniques and innovative, niche technologies.
With R&D partnerships primarily with Hasan Kalyoncu University and other leading institutions and organizations in Türkiye and worldwide, technologies of not only today but also the future are being developed.
