Our Integrated Factory
In our ingot factory, where high-purity polysilicon is used, the raw material is subjected to melting and crystal growth in specially designed ingot furnaces at 1400–1450 °C. At the end of approximately 50 hours, it is transformed into an ingot with an average weight of 350 kilograms and a length of 3.5 meters using the pulling method with a seed crystal. The pulling method is calculated with millimetric precision and can achieve a growth rate of 100 mm per hour.
Since the achievable purity determines the product’s quality, the sterilization of our production area is continuously monitored in our Ingot Factory.
Because the crystal quality of the produced ingots directly affects the energy efficiency obtained from the sun, production in the Ingot Factory constitutes the most critical stage in solar cell and solar panel manufacturing.
